The six Wildlife Trusts in Wales work together
to protect wildlife for the future.
Between us, we have more than 32,000 members.
We work in partnership with public and private sector organisations
across the whole of Wales. We manage 230 nature reserves, covering
more than 6,000 hectares of prime wildlife habitat - from rugged
coastline to urban wildlife havens. We are currently helping to
improve sites across Wales for important species including the otter,
red squirrel, dormouse, water vole, bottle-nosed dolphin, harbour
porpoise, southern damselfly and the marsh fritillary butterfly.
The Trusts, through the Wildlife Partnerships
scheme, are encouraging local businesses to get involved in conservation,
for the benefit of us all.
